Inchcape Fleet Solutions signs up Scotia Gas Networks

Inchcape Fleet Solutions has announced the signing of a complete fleet management outsource contract with Scotia Gas Networks (SGN).

Following a competitive tender process, SGN, the UK’s second largest gas distribution company, chose Inchcape Fleet Solutions to provide the totally outsourced fleet management arrangement they required.

The contract will see the company provide SGN with a combined fleet of 2,100 cars and light commercial vehicles.

In addition to their fleet, SGN have enlisted Inchcape Fleet Solutions to supply the following ancillary products and services: accident management, motor insurance database management, vehicle management (service, maintenance and repair) and foreign travel arrangements.

From a technological perspective, SGN will also make use of a number of Inchcape Fleet Solutions’ online systems: FleetVision, a system designed to facilitate smoother communication between Inchcape Fleet Solutions and its clients, Downtime Management, an online tool developed to reduce vehicle downtime and a specifically tailored fleet portal, aimed at allowing SGN to keep a tight rein on all fleet activity.

Inchcape Fleet Solutions’ sales and marketing director Richard Middleton said: “I am extremely excited to welcome Scotia Gas Networks to the Inchcape Family and look forward to developing a truly exceptional working relationship with them.”
