Ken Harris plans to enter a new race car in the gruelling 4, 6 and 24 hour Endurance race series at the new Nürburgring in 2012 after successfully competing in the 2011 VLN endurance Series.

For the new race car build code named “Projekt Felix”, to be completed over the winter period, the two main German racing authorities the Deutscher Motor Sport Bund e. V. (DMSB) and the rburgring - Veranstaltergemeinschaft Langstreckenpokal (VLN) are now considering classification for the highly innovative rear drive race car which is a 1st at the new Nurburgring.

Ken Harris of Nurburgmotorsport says “If we get the class approval we would like we are very confident in podium finishes and even the overall class win simply because on paper, we shall out perform all the other cars you usually see racing over here in the lower entry classes”.

Over 10 meetings during March-October 2012, with the 24 hour race held in May 2012 which this year included over 50+ hours of live national TV coverage, a total approaching 20 million viewers with over 500,000 spectators visiting the events in person.

The VLN series and the 24 hour races takes place on the famous 17 mile Nürburgring circuit, located in the Eifel region of Germany.
