SG Equipment Finance embarks on new project with CHP Consulting

SG Equipment Finance has begun a new project with CHP Consulting to implement an ALFA Systems browser-based point-of-sale solution for its UK business.

The ALFA front-end application, which encompasses support for a wide range of financial products and services, integrates tightly with SGEF’s existing ALFA Systems software platform to provide an end-to-end solution for asset finance portfolio management. The implementation is in progress and scheduled to go live later this year.

Steve Symons, operations director at SGEF UK, said:“We look to offer the highest standards of service and efficiency and this new solution will provide SGEF with a leading proposition for the market. The integration with our back-end platform is critical as it means we can offer straight-through processing throughout the agreement lifecycle. This represents a major step forward for our business.”

Andrew Denton, CHP Consulting’s chief operating officer, said: “We are delighted to be continuing our long-term partnership with SGEF in the UK. We have worked together for 15 years, constantly enhancing the capabilities of their IT platform and giving the business the engine room it requires for success. Our clients use ALFA Systems at every stage of the agreement lifecycle, and by bringing our efficiency gains to SGEF’s sales function we are also providing them with a platform for expansion.”
