Autoglass has launched a national recruitment drive in the UK in response to increased demand for its services following the demise of one of its competitors and its continued investment in to customer service.

It is looking to recruit 200 new staff across its branches, including 150 technicians and 50 branch-based customer service agents. The company has set up a dedicated text line for former Auto Windscreens employees, who will be dealt with as priority in light of their new employment needs.
However, previous industry experience is not essential; the vehicle glass specialist is also looking those with strong customer service skills.

“There is a wealth of talent out there and we welcome both experienced specialists and those who are passionate about customer service and high quality standards who may be seeking a career change,” said Matthew Mycock, managing director at Autoglass.

“We have seen a surge in demand of late and we anticipate a potential 200,000 additional customers turning to Autoglass this year. We are going to need this further support to deal with demand, and call the best of breed forward to join our forces to maintain outstanding levels of customer service.”
