Mitsubishi announces new dealership

Mitsubishi Motors in the UK have confirmed the appointment of a new dealership, Burnham Garage who will be open their doors on Monday 4th April 2011.

This latest addition to Mitsubishi’s nationwide dealer network provides Mitsubishi sales, service and parts for the Thames Valley area. The sales centre will operate from Clarence Road, Windsor and the after-sales team will operate, just 1.9 miles away at Farnham Road in Slough.

Managing director of Burnham Garage, Mike Goodchild said: "We have been serving the Thames valley area for nearly 60 years now and the addition of the Mitsubishi brand will strengthen our sales portfolio. The thing we really like about Mitsubishi is its strong reputation for reliability and quality and it doesn’t conflict with any of our other new car brands. We are look forward to welcoming existing and new Mitsubishi customers within the Thames Valley area to our dealership at this very exciting time."

Dealer franchising manager for Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, Alan Rooke said: “Burnham Garage is a small family owned group with a reputation for customer service, which is what our customers look for in a Dealership when they visit to purchase a vehicle or have their vehicle serviced.

Mitsubishi’s product strategy over the next 5 years is to focus on producing vehicles with strong environmental credentials and these vehicles will be ideally suited to Burnham’s customer base.”

Rooke continued to say: “We are delighted that Burnham is joining the Mitsubishi franchise, theThames Valley area has traditionally been a very strong area for our vehicles and we know Burnham will serve the area well.”

The appointment of Burnham Garage brings the number of Mitsubishi Motors dealers in the UK up to to 118.
