Lookers Mercedes-Benz has won the Fleet Sales Team of the Year category in the manufacturer’s annual Retailer of the Year awards.
The result builds on the success of the group’s Mercedes-Benz of Brighton-based fleet sales department in last year’s awards, when it was voted one of the top three fleet sales teams in the Mercedes-Benz UK retail network.
Those judging the Lookers team and their counterparts from 31 other Mercedes-Benz market areas were looking for exemplary sales performance plus business retention excellence. The Lookers Mercedes-Benz team showed the way by growing their year-on-year figures by 20 per cent and achieving 159 per cent of their fleet objective target.
Nigel Barber, corporate fleet director for Lookers Mercedes-Benz, was delighted with the win.
“Sheer teamwork and being totally customer focused is the secret of our success,” said Nigel, who heads up the five-strong team of industry experts.
“We explored every avenue when it came to our customers’ requirements, ensuring that best practice was delivered in all areas from initial contact to after sales support.”
