New centre manager for Manheim Auctions, Leeds

Nigel Paling has been appointed as the new centre manager at Manheim Auctions, Leeds, following Mark Taylor’s appointment to Manheim Auctions, Colchester. Paling will be responsible for all vehicle auction activity on the Leeds site including cars, vans, trucks and plant.

Paling has 17 years’ experience in used vehicle remarketing and vehicle logistics and was appointed general manager, operations, in May 2008.

His responsibilities included central support for Manheim’s auction centres in logistics, reconditioning, inspections, process improvement, new client implementation and customer services.

Mike Pilkington, managing director, Manheim Remarketing, said: “Nigel’s wealth of experience is well suited to managing our diverse auction activities at Leeds.”
