Seat has been growing its fleet team to continued growth in the sector by having more face-to-face contacts with corporate customers.

Commenting on the appointment of Paul Franklin-Slattery as specialist sales manager, Nick Andrews, Seat UK head of fleet and business sales, said: ‘Having a dedicated expert on hand to deal with the specific demands of specialist fleets is a major step forward for Seat.”

Andrews believes taking a consistent approach has helped Seat grow in the fleet sector coupled with listening to fleets.

“We have new processes in place because we listened to fleet managers, we want to make it as easy as possible for fleets to work with us,” said Andrews.

A key area of growth for Seat is in core fleet and local businesses and they believe a larger team can help extend Seats reach in the UK.

“With more people we can extend our reach,” said Sally Livingstone-Dennis, national sales manager at Seat UK. “People buy from people; it goes without saying that the more people we can bring into the team, the more companies and fleet managers we can reach.”

With successful growth in the small business sector, Seat now has its sights on larger organisations.

“All we have ever wanted was to be considered by fleets,” said Andrews. “As we expand as a market player we want to be in a position where we have a team able to deliver excellent customer service to keep our customers.”
