Inchcape Fleet Solutions, based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, will be exhibiting at the annual GreenFleet Scotland event in Edinburgh tomorrow (September 1).

GreenFleet Scotland is intended for fleet managers and heads of transport that want to investigate the latest fleet technology, so that they may manage their fleets more efficiently.

The day provides a mix of driver training, low emission vehicle testing opportunities, seminars and varied exhibitors from the fleet and motoring industries.

Notable speakers at the event include John Curtis, head of Low Carbon Vehicles and Fuels for Transport Scotland and Ian Murdoch, transport manager at the Energy Saving Trust Scotland.

Inchcape Fleet Solutions says its attendance at GreenFleet Scotland this year represents a concerted drive by the business to broadcast its message to a wider audience.

Richard Middleton, Inchcape Fleet Solutions’ sales and marketing director, said: “Fleet managers are looking for ways to reduce carbon emissions whilst reducing costs and staying receptive to their customers.

“At the event, we plan to showcase our latest green technology and demonstrate our truly unique offering to fleet professionals.”

GreenFleet Scotland 2011 takes place at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, Edinburgh on September 1.
