Cork Rent-A-Van renews Bridgestone fleet contract

Cork Rent-A-Van, which specialises in rental leasing and contract hire, has renewed its contract with Bridgestone.

The newly signed deal builds upon a long-running, six-year relationship.

It involves Bridgestone supplying a range of new and retreaded tyres over the next 12 months to cater for Cork Rent-A-Van’s fleet of 300 vans and trucks.

Among the factors that led to the company maintaining their partnership was Bridgestone’s Siebel online account system, which allows monitoring of individual tyre cost and wear across the whole fleet, at any point of a tyre’s working life.

John Seaman, MD at Cork Rent-A-Van, said: “Our customers expect reliability from our vehicles, whether it is for long or short term use and the overall tyre working-life that Bridgestone offers guarantees this.

"The Bridgestone tailored customer approach, including their online monitoring system was best equipped to respond to our need for a range of tyres suitable for everything from light vans to specialist HGVs, and made staying with Bridgestone an easy choice.”
