Technology entrepreneur Martin Port has launched BigChange, which aims to bring mobile apps into the mainstream for transport, fleet and field service operators.

BigChange Apps connects drivers and fleets to the office using a rugged fixed or portable touchscreen computer.

The system is hoping to make a big change to the way companies manage their fleets, drivers and employees on the road.

Port, the UK founder of Masternaut, says that fleet operators will get access to JobWatch Office and JobWatch mobile app supplied as an out of box solution that works on the latest BigChange Rugged Mobile Computer, which is available as fixed or portable with a 7-inch and 4-inch screen.

The product incorporates everything from mobile communications to satellite navigation, all apps and vehicle tracking for £39.95 per month.

“I launched Masternaut in the UK in 2002 before selling the company as an extremely successful business in April 2011,” says Martin Port, MD of BigChange Apps.

“With my experience in telematics, we have developed an advanced intuitive joined-up solution that will fill a huge gap in the UK and Global Markets.

“The solution is so advanced it is recognised as fourth generation intelligent telematics, giving instant business benefits and improvements for small medium and large companies.”

Laurence Vaughan, non-executive chairman of BigChange Apps, who is also non-executive chairman of Sytner Group, said: “We are making it very simple for companies to benefit from our advanced multiple application service.

“BigChange will revolutionise the way companies manage their mobile workforce and my belief is that the company will gain market leadership very quickly.”
