The results of the UK’s largest survey into workplace engagement show that people who work in smaller companies are the most content.

Employees at Solihull based Fleet Hire Ltd were tasked to score their business for the Times survey designed to examine the make-up of a happy and successful workplace. The results on questions around Leadership, Wellbeing, My Manager, My Team, Fair Deal, Giving Something Back, My Company and Personal Growth led to the 11 year old vehicle management company being ranked 31st out of 524 small firms who took part. In addition to this prestigious award gained at the first attempt, Fleet Hire was also presented with a 3 star accreditation classing the fleet management business as ‘extraordinary’.

Fleet Hire’s MD Graham Hale said “The Best Companies methodology helps us as employers to better understand challenges in the workplace and how they relate directly to our business. Our most valuable asset is our workforce and we’re pleased that they have responded in such a positive way.
