Total Accident Management, the repair and claims management subsidiary of Helphire Group, has appointed Amanda Mullans as operations director.

With over three years of work with the Helphire Group under her belt, Mullans joined the Helphire Group in 2008, with overall responsibility for the Bristol and Bath sites where she implemented a complete overhaul of business processes and policies.

From 2010 she led its Northwich site, where she delivered migration to a new operating platform.

Before Total, Mullans worked for a number of high profile brands including News international, ITV and Sitel.

She said: “The transition from Helphire to Total has been a really positive move and I’m very much looking forward to working with such a high performing team.

“The next 12 months are going to be exciting with a range of new products on the horizon, and some inspiring initiatives to drive our ‘best in class’ reputation to even greater heights.”

Penny Stoolman, managing director of Total Accident Management said: “Our operation has seen significant growth over the last year. Mullans has a rare leadership quality, and a track record of inspiring and engaging others around her – something that will be highly valued at Total!”
