Kit Wisdom has moved into the new position of mobility solutions manager for multi-marque leasing and fleet management company Alphabet.

His initial focus was on rolling-out Alphabet’s new AlphaCity corporate car sharing product, which was launched in the UK on March 16.

“Businesses are changing their ideas about travel,” said Wisdom. “AlphaCity and the other innovations we are working on are widening the options available to businesses and drivers.”

Wisdom started his career as a graduate trainee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, working in a number of positions including branch manager and strategic account manager in both the public sector and corporate sector markets, and lastly as the company’s UK implementation manager.

Paul Hollick, sales and marketing director for Alphabet, said: “Kit’s appointment is key for Alphabet.

“There are winds of change within our industry and the future competitive landscape involves leasing companies evolving from providers of fleet solutions to mobility solutions businesses.

“At Alphabet we want to drive the market, investing in new, innovative products which utilise technology to make better use of assets, solve age old problems for fleet managers and constantly improve the driver experience.

“Kit will help drive both AlphaCity and other new innovations we are currently working on forward. There are exciting times ahead for Alphabet and our customers.”
