Škoda grows its fleet team

Škoda UK is welcoming the arrival of three new additions to its fleet sales team with the appointment of Jonathan Harris, Tomas Tichy and Alan Barrowman as fleet sales managers.

The investment in the fleet sales team forms part of a wider growth strategy to build upon record results achieved by the Škoda UK team last year, which saw fleet registrations increase by 31% to a total of 22,000 and a 2.2% fleet market share.

In their new positions, Harris (pictured with Tichy) will have responsibility for the South West and South Wales regions, Tichy for East Anglia, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire and Barrowman will oversee Scotland and Northern England.

They will also join their fellow fleet sales team members in implementing Škoda’s Fit for Fleet Retailer Initiative, which offers specialist training and marketing support to help deliver Škoda’s first-class products to an increasingly receptive fleet audience.

Martin Burke, head of fleet sales at Škoda UK, said: “We’re delighted to have three new members on board and I’ve no doubt that their expertise will help us to build upon the record success of last year.

“By 2015, Škoda UK aims to deliver 78,000 registrations per year, with half of the overall sales volume coming from the fleet market.

“To help achieve this, we’re committed to investing in our staff to ensure we’re best placed to deliver a first-rate service to both our burgeoning fleet customer base and future prospects.”
