Phil Franklin has been promoted to the key role of business development manager for 1link Service Network at motor industry e-commerce specialist epyx.

He joined the company in 2002 and has since held a variety of roles. In his new position, he will be responsible for sales of the e-commerce platform to existing market prospects as well as identifying new opportunities and helping with development.

Franklin said: “I’m very excited to take on this new role. Having worked on 1link Service Network for a number of years, I am very familiar with its capabilities and the needs of the fleets and dealers who use the platform every day.

“I’m also looking forward to working on future enhancements with existing and emerging customers.”

Gary Gibson, head of customer services at epyx, said: “Phil has a great understanding of the 1link product range and Service Network in particular, both in terms of the platform and its users.

“He looks set to bring a renewed drive to the product, particularly as we look forward to a period of exciting new developments during 2012.”
