Microlise has announced the addition of ACPO’s chief inspector, Mick Trosh, to the Microlise Transport Conference.

Trosh is a serving chief inspector with the Metropolitan Police Service, currently the deputy head of the Association of Chief Police Officers Intelligent Transportation Systems (ACPO ITS) Working Group and has 29 year’s service. Trosh will be conducting a 15 minute closed session (not open to the press) regarding the newest technological solutions for improving the security of high risk vehicles.

The Microlise Transport Conference is being held at the Barcelo Hinckley Island Hotel on the 10th of May 2012. It is open to logistics professionals and is free to all delegates. The conference is focused on helping fleet operators reduce their operating costs, improve their service levels and reduce their impact on the environment.

In addition to ACPO, Carlsberg, John Mitchell Haulage & Warehousing, DHL, Ryder, Tesco, Hoyer, and the Metropolitan Police will also be presenting. Mr. Quentin Willson will be chairing the event and presenting on the FairFuelUK campaign battle as well as his time on Top Gear.
