Samsung Honda head to Snetterton in Norfolk this weekend for the fourth round of the British Superbike Championship as Jon Kirkham and Michael Laverty target a return to the podium.

Laverty is determined to get his title campaign back on track this weekend at the 2.99-mile Norfolk circuit, whilst Kirkham returns following his huge crash at the Oulton Park round as the pair aim to elevate themselves inside the top six in the overall standings.

In the Superstock 1000 Championship Jason O'Halloran is eager to build on his win from the last round at Donington Park and close on the title lead which he currently trails by four points.

Michael Laverty: “I am really determined for the Snetterton races this weekend, the team have a strong history of results there and we know what we are capable of. We have used the time between rounds to have a look at things to improve and we want to turn things around in the two races on Sunday.”

Jon Kirkham: “Over the Oulton Park weekend we were making progress apart from lap nine of race one! That was a shame for me as it had started quite well but Snetterton should be good for me and I am looking forward to getting back out on the Samsung Honda. I want to get back inside the top six in the standings and claw some points back that we lost at the previous round.”

Jason O’Halloran: “It is going to be a good weekend, the track is fantastic and we have had a good test there pre-season. I don’t think it is going to be easy as the championship is so competitive but winning the race at Donington Park has really made me want to repeat the performance so we will be ready to come out fighting.”

Havier Beltran, team manager: “In the past Snetterton has been one of the tracks that the Honda Fireblade has performed well. Michael showed he had a good pace in the pre-season test there and this really is a weekend where he can turn his championship around, after a couple of disappointing rounds. It is great that we have JK back this weekend after his huge crash at Oulton Park and he really has his sights set on getting himself inside the top six again. In the Superstock class Jason is confident after winning at Donington Park and will be looking to maintain his podium form. The whole of the Samsung Honda team are motivated and ready for the weekend.”
