Fiat Group Automobiles’ six brands were represented at company car in action, with three offering sub-100g/km models thanks to Fiat’s frugal TwinAir engine.

Brane Bosancic, corporate marketing manager at Fiat Group Automobiles said while the same brands were present at Company Car in Action in 2011, the Chrysler products had expanded to include new models, including the Ypsilon small car and the lower-medium Delta.

“We have a lot of new products here, and we have a strong range of small petrol cars that are suitable for and relevant to fleets,” he said.

“Our two-cylinder TwinAir petrol engine allows people to choose an Alfa Romeo Mito, Fiat Punto, Fiat Panda or Chrysler Ypsilon all with CO2 emissions below 100g/km.

“However, we now have a 90g/km diesel variant in the Fiat Punto, which will also soon become available as a Punto Van.

"A couple of years ago, there seemed to be a lot of talk about electric vehicles, but conventional powertrains still have much to offer. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCT for example has 170bhp and has CO2 emissions of 121g/km for the petrol version and 119g/km for the diesel.”
