New international business development manager at Trakm8

Trakm8 has appointed Chris Johnston as international business development manager to meet demand for Trakm8’s products overseas.

The appointment is a key part of Trakm8’s growth strategy, with export sales expected to grow by 40% this year.

Trakm8 has now supplied more 200,000 telematics devices to 27 different countries worldwide.

With the recent launch of the T8 Mini IP67 rated unit, this number is expected to increase rapidly over the coming months.

Johnston has already visited a number of customers in Europe and the Middle East and has plans to visit the US and South America over the coming weeks.

John Watkins, Trakm8 chief executive, said: “The appointment of Chris confirms Trakm8 commitment to supplying telematics hardware products worldwide, as well as sourcing new partners for the Trakm8 range of market leading fleet management software solutions."
