Paragon has won two major contracts; the renewal of its contract to defleet and refurbish all of Renault UK’s company, demonstrator and rental vehicles and a new reconditioning contract with Renault Credit International Financial Services (RCIFS).

The contracts account for in excess of 20,000 vehicles over three years. They are testimony to Paragon’s outstanding versatility in managing the refurbishment of a diverse portfolio of vehicles, ranging from nine months to three years old.

Paul Stibbe, used vehicle remarketing manager, of RCIFS, said: "Winning these two contracts is evidence of Paragon’s flexible and intuitive approach.

"Renault UK, RCIFS and Paragon are committed to creating a market leading, cost effective and efficient defleet and refurbishment process that supports a variety of different sales channels."

Company, rental and demonstrator cars from Renault UK due for refurbishment typically have 14,000 miles on the clock and are around nine months old.

The contract will see Paragon continue to recondition the cars to a high standard so they can be sold on to the Renault dealer network.

This means Paragon is helping Renault UK to focus on, and achieve, its ultimate goal of increased sales.

The vehicles are prepared to a set of criteria agreed with Renault UK, depending on the sales channel for which they are destined.

This, along with the variety of models, ages and mileage of the vehicles, is evidence of Paragon’s flexibility and skill in the reconditioning sector.

In a separate new contract win, Paragon Automotive will be refurbishing vehicles which have been defleeted to RCIFS.  The portfolio of vehicles to be reconditioned for RCIFS at the Paragon centre in Corby, Northamptonshire includes: Renault, Dacia, Nissan and Infiniti all of which are between one year and three years old with up to 60,000 miles on the clock.
