Save money while reducing fleet risk, says Brake

Brake is offering a limited number of places for a webinar on saving money through fleet risk management.

It is estimated these drivers are 30-40% more likely to be in a crash than people driving on their own time. In Great Britain, 10 people are killed each week and 100 injured in crashes involving people driving for work.

Particularly aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises, this Brake webinar will examine the benefits of managing road risk, discussing techniques to help organisations gain the support and engagement of their board in prioritising fleet safety to save lives, money and the environment.

Prominent experts and practitioners will lead the webinar, including:

  • Dr Will Murray - Research Director, Interactive Driving Systems
  • Andy Price - Practice Leader - Motor Fleet, Zurich Risk Engineering
  • Rory Morgan - National Logistics General Manager, Iron Mountain

Named Brake subscribers are invited to attend this webinar for free. Delegate places for non-subscribers are £72 +VAT.

The event is being run as a webinar and will take place from 2-3.30pm (GMT) on Thursday 14 March 2013. Find out more and book your place online at Brake’s website.

Ellie Pearson, senior professional engagement officer at Brake, said: “In the current economic climate, every business is looking to save costs, and managing fleet risks are an excellent way to maintain service quality, protect the workforce, and save money. This webinar is a vital tool to help enterprises achieve their efficiency and safety goals. I recommend this webinar to all small and medium size businesses who run fleets.”
