The increasing time pressure on UK businesses and fleet managers has driven a major refresh and relaunch of one of the UK’s leading vehicle rental solutions.

Nexus’ IRIS system has been relaunched this week, enhanced with a range of new features centred around speed, convenience and the ability for users to create a totally personalised platform for their rental needs.

Offering rental bookings in less than 30 seconds, the IRIS system now offers a refreshed dashboard enabling even faster access to a multitude of reporting and management tools designed to enhance ease of rental while driving down cost.

Customers can view key information about rental activity, CO2, fuel and rental profile reports at the touch of a button, along with industry news and weather updates on their personalised welcome screen.

IRIS further provides access to real time management of damage claims and customer service issues via one central point, allowing customers’ access to see each level of the resolution process.

Employed by rental users, suppliers and intermediaries, IRIS is one of the most widely used rental management systems in the UK and delivered a 93% customer satisfaction score in a recent Nexus customer survey.

Nexus managing director John Ellis explained: “Our latest customer satisfaction survey showed 76% of our customers use Nexus for the majority of their rental supply, with more than half using the company as sole supplier for all their rental needs.

“We know everyone is operating in an increasingly time-pressured environment and for this reason IRIS is designed to offer maximum efficiency; reducing both administration and booking time.

“Our customer survey results are a key benchmark for the performance of both our services and staff, with all customer feedback analysed and implemented wherever possible.

“The addition of news and weather updates, easy dashboard customisation and reporting shortcuts on IRIS were all suggestions from the latest survey so it’s very satisfying to see the changes go live.

“Administration is one of the most time-consuming elements of any business’ operations, particularly for those who have a fleet of drivers travelling all over the country five days a week.

“IRIS streamlines rental booking, reporting and invoicing in one central place, boosting productivity and providing a simple rental solution for anyone from SMEs to large blue-chip organisations.

“We welcome all feedback on the revamped IRIS system and look forward to seeing how it develops in the future.”

In addition to the latest site developments, Nexus recently launched a mobile version of the IRIS site; enabling customers to manage rental from a smartphone when on the move.

Nexus provides clients with access to more than 400,000 vehicles from more than 1,700 locations across the UK managed through a quality supply chain accessed via the IRIS software platform.
