BCA has announced the acquisition of nkl automotive, the vehicle logistics and storage specialists based in Goole, Yorkshire for an undisclosed sum.

nkl was established in 2002 by Nick and Joy Laister, who are both joining BCA Logistics, along with the workforce of around 200 drivers and operational staff.

The move allows BCA to offer more logistics capability to a broader customer base.

BCA Logistics director Jonathan Higham commented “We are delighted to welcome nkl automotive into BCA and look forward to integrating the high quality range of services they offer to both new and existing customers.”

He added “BCA Logistics handles over a quarter of a million vehicle moves annually, and this acquisition further enhances the range and flexibility of services we can offer our customers.  BCA Logistics will also utilise the nkl Goole facility to offer additional storage and refurbishment services.”

In tandem with the acquisition of nkl, BCA is developing a number of additional premium services in the logistics arena for fleet, lease and manufacturer customers.  Higham concluded “Logistics fulfilment is a key part of our strategy to develop and deliver market leading solutions for our customers.”
