Lex Autolease secures Procurement for Housing contract

Lex Autolease has been reappointed as one of the nominated suppliers for vehicle contract hire, daily rental and fleet management services to social housing purchasing consortium, Procurement for Housing (PfH).

PfH manages the purchasing and supply of over £2.5 million of goods and services for over 800 social housing providers each week and creates savings of £50 million a year.

Lex Autolease began its relationship with PfH as a first rank supplier in 2010. The reappointment to the organisation’s framework will see Lex Autolease continue to supply vehicles through contract hire and daily rental, alongside fleet management services, for a further three years.

Dean Hedger, national sales manager of the public sector team at Lex Autolease, which manages over 22,000 vehicles across the UK, said: “The reappointment to the PfH framework recognises our quality and growing fleet management commitment in the social housing sector.

“PfH provides a valuable service to the social housing sector and we are delighted to continue our support for its efforts in delivering cost savings to its members.”
