Days Contract Hire launches safety promotion

Days Contract Hire has teamed up with tyre firm Michelin to launch a safety kit giveaway for fleet customers.

The kit, worth £50, is to be given away when purchasing two or more car, van or 4x4 tyres from the Michelin range.

The Michelin safety kit, supplied in a carry bag, consists of a tyre inflator, an umbrella, a torch and a warning triangle. The kit folds down to a small size, and is designed to assist drivers in the event of a breakdown.

The offer is open to fleet drivers, their friends and family members, but drivers of fleet vehicles also benefit from a Michelin membership card that doubles up as a tread-depth gauge for ensuring tyres are within the legal safety limit.

Director of Days Contract Hire Aled Williams said: “We take an individual approach to supplying our clients with the best vehicles for their needs. We are proud that we are working with Michelin to improve understanding of fleet drivers regarding road safety and tyre issues.”
