Motor retailer Pendragon has renewed its contract with Experian, the global information services company, to support its UK wide used car programme for a further two years.

Earlier this year, Pendragon signed up to continue using Experian’s AutoCheck service.

This latest contract means that it is now 14 years since Pendragon first appointed Experian as its supplier of provenance services in the UK.

Malcolm Bailey, business development director for Pendragon said: “Employing the most accurate and intuitive service in the industry is vital to our reputation and Experian has consistently demonstrated this for over a decade so were the obvious choice.”

Alistair Scullion, managing director of Experian’s UK automotive business, said:“Provenance and mileage checking is an essential risk management tool for any modern successful used car business and Pendragon is a great example of this.”
