Bruntingthorpe Integrated Automotive Solutions has won a major five-year contract to provide central de-fleet services to BMW.  In excess of 30 new positions will be created across various skill levels, including workshop staff, IT specialists and office staff.

John Walton, Commercial Director and one of the four Walton family members who own Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground and Airfield where BIAS is located, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won this contract.  It hasn’t just happened by accident, it’s been a strategic decision to create, at Bruntingthorpe, a centre of excellence, efficiency and experience.”

Walton thanked business strategy and contract development manager, Sam Watkins, who led the tender process and who will be account director for duration of the contract.  “She has been instrumental in the development of our business strategy which aims to streamline and integrate de-fleet activities, supporting clients make intelligent market led refurbishment and disposal channel decisions.”

Watkins added: “Aiding clients to reduce time and cost whilst optimising potential revenue returns has been the key focus for BIAS de-fleet services.”
