Venson appoints two new directors

Venson Automotive Solutions has appointed Gil Kelly as operations director and Mark Gerard as financial director to support the company’s growth strategy.

Prior to joining Venson, Kelly was director of customer services and operations for Lombard Vehicle Management.

With substantial experience in the fleet management industry, Kelly has held key management and director positions at Lex Vehicle Leasing and Carillion Fleet Management, as well as becoming regional director at Bureau Veritas.

Kelly will be looking at internal operations to create opportunities for further growth, supporting the sales team and financial operations.

Gerard has significant experience in growing SMEs, working in the financial services and investment sectors on a consultancy level.

His hands-on commercial experience means he can develop and implement strategic direction, assessing potential acquisitions, projects and new markets.

Working closely with Kelly, Gerard will focus on maximising new opportunities for Venson, as well as supporting the business through the implementation of reporting structures and financial systems.

Samantha Roff, managing director for Venson Automotive Services, said: “Gil Kelly is a respected figure within the fleet industry, making him the ideal person to lead the business on to new levels of success.

"We have plans to diversify into new areas of the fleet sector and Mark’s wider business perspective means we will be in the perfect position to make strategic moves and harness new opportunities to build the business.”
