Tusker has been re-appointed to provide lease cars, salary sacrifice cars and grey fleet management services to NHS Trusts and other public sector bodies across the UK by the NHS North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC) via its fleet management service, CPC Drive.

Tusker was initially appointed three years ago under a framework agreement to provide lease and salary sacrifice cars to NHS Trusts by the NOE CPC.

During that time, Tusker has supplied almost 4,000 cars through business lease and salary sacrifice schemes to NHS Trusts all over the UK.

CPC Drive is delivered under a single platform that aims to make it simple and straightforward to provide a range of fleet services to any of the 400-plus NHS Trusts nationally.

Under the terms of the new framework agreement, these can now be extended to any public sector body, including police forces, fire services, local authorities and councils.

CPC Drive was set up in 2010 to deliver best value leasing and salary sacrifice services to the NHS, as well as meeting duty of care obligations, reducing carbon footprint, costs and administration and improving the driver experience.

Over 31 NHS Trusts signed up with CPC Drive via the previous agreement, offering more than 100,000 employees significant benefits and enhanced customer support.

Tusker, in conjunction with Software Europe, will again provide an electronic, web-based expenses system to CPC Drive to deliver reduced administration and processing costs and improve claims accuracy.

Julian Clarke, head of Fleet Services at NOE CPC Drive, said: “We went out to tender through the Official Journal of the European Union for Procurement and received applications from some of the UK’s leading leasing and fleet management providers.

“We decided to re-appoint Tusker for many reasons, but principally because of the quality of the customer service they provide, and the simple but comprehensive functionality of the bespoke website they have created for us.

Clarke continued: “We wanted to continue to provide an online all-embracing and cost-effective solution which covered lease cars, grey fleet, salary sacrifice cars and an electronic expenses system to NHS Trusts and other public sector bodies.

“We wanted a service that was delivered through a single integrated portal, was delivered online, was easy to use, was cost effective and provided high levels of customer service. Tusker continues to be the ideal partner.”

Tusker CEO David Hosking said: “We are delighted to have been re-selected to provide a range of leasing, salary sacrifice and expense management services to the NoE CPC Drive fleet management platform.

“It is testament to the quality of the dedicated solution that we have provided so far, which will allow us to deliver even more efficient and cost-effective services to NHS Trusts and other public sector bodies.”

NHS Trusts which currently use the CPC Drive framework agreement are spread throughout the UK from Salisbury in the South West to Newcastle in the North East, and at many points in between.

Tusker, which recently moved into new offices in Croxley Green Business Park to facilitate its continued expansion, is the UK market leader in the provision of salary sacrifice car schemes.

It has more than 140 live salary sacrifice car schemes in operation in both private and public sectors with a wide variety of organisations, including National Grid, Telegraph Media Group, Aston University, Northumbrian Water, Airbus, Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and North Yorkshire County Council.
