Road safety charity Brake has announced the date for its annual Fleet Safety Conference in 2015.

Brake is inviting bookings from employers of at-work drivers to attend its acclaimed conference, which will take place at the St John's Hotel, Solihull (UK), on Tuesday 19 May 2015.

The conference will provide an opportunity to hear from leading experts on key fleet safety issues, as well as best practice presentations from organisations pioneering fleet safety measures. The conference will address topical issues including saving money through fleet risk management, managing at-work road risk to protect vulnerable road users, and effective policies and procedures for managing high-risk drivers. Conference speakers will include: Stephen Martin, head of fleet at SIG Trading Limited, Rory Morgan, national logistics general manager at Iron Mountain, and Neil Shaw, head of training and development at Ocado.

Ellie Pearson, senior professional engagement officer, said: "This is a well-established, prestigious event and provides an excellent opportunity for networking and sharing best practice among employers of at-work drivers. I'd urge anyone with a responsibility for managing at-work drivers to attend, and hear first hand from organisations at the forefront of managing road risk."
