Five new members join 1link Hire Network Customer Forum

Five new members have been appointed to the 1link Hire Network Customer Forum as use of the platform continues to expand.

The 1link Hire Network Customer Forum is the independent customer body that represents those who use epyx’s rental e-commerce platform to manage all their hire needs.

New members are Amanda Cunningham of FMG Support, Ian Bennett of Ogilvie Fleet, Ann Chiverton of TCH Leasing, Alison Mead of Grosvenor Contracts and Sharon Avery of ARI Fleet.

The Customer Forum has been continually consulted on in the development of Release 27 of 1link Hire Network, the most significant enhancement to the platform yet seen, released soon.

Chair Julie Griffiths of Lex Autolease said: “The Forum fulfils an important role in promoting best practice, discussing new ideas and also guiding future development of the platform. It is very pleasing to see these new members comes on board.”

Marc Lees, business development manager at epyx, added: “The platform is becoming more and more extensively used across the fleet industry for the buying and management of daily rental and the expanded Customer Forum reflects its growth. Their direct involvement in the platform’s future strategy and development is extremely important to epyx.”

Launched in 2006, 1link Hire Network is an e-commerce platform that brings together car and van rental suppliers and purchasers in real-time, and has been widely adopted.
