Alphabet has launched its new, dedicated broker sales channel in the UK.

The new division, called Alphabet Partner, was formally unveiled at an event held at the Peugeot-Citröen headquarters in Coventry by Alphabet’s CEO, Richard Schooling and Olympic gold medal winning rower, Mark Hunter MBE.

Overseen by Gavin Davies, head of indirect sales, the exclusive channel provides SME organisations with access to Alphabet’s full suite of funding fleet management and advanced mobility solutions via a select network of Broker partners.

Key to the company’s ambitious growth targets, Alphabet has created a partnership arrangement with an exclusive group of Brokers across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. As part of the selection process for Alphabet Partner over 180 applications were received and 70 brokerages were interviewed before the final exclusive group of 34 brokers were chosen.

Central to the launch of Alphabet Partner, a bespoke IT platform - designed in conjunction with Brokers – has been rolled out to support Partners during every stage of the sales lifecycle.  The intuitive quotation system, named ‘icon’, provides Alphabet Partners with access to a full suite of funding and ancillary products at the touch of a button.

The new ‘icon’ system also enables Graham Conway, head of special offer management, to promote exclusive tactical business via Alphabet’s select network of Brokers. Graham commented “icon is an amazing tactical business tool and route to market. Manufacturers have been keen to negotiate tactical opportunities as a result of our distinctive business model.”

Richard Schooling, CEO at Alphabet, said:  “We are really excited to announce the launch of our first-ever Broker sales channel.  We have carefully selected a range of highly-regarded, well-established Partners across the UK who we are supporting with a dedicated, experienced team as well as innovative business tools like icon. With the new bespoke system, our unique proposition in the market and the fantastic reaction we’ve seen so far from Brokers, we’re expecting big things from Alphabet Partner now and in the future.”
