Alphabet has appointed David Bushnell as an e-mobility consultant, further strengthening the company’s expertise in the use of electric vehicles.

Bushnell, a former consultant for Arval UK with more than 20 years’ experience, brings with him extensive knowledge of fleet taxation, personal motoring schemes, fuel optimisation and fleet funding.

He also has five years under his belt as a mechanical engineer and is a member of the Institute of Car Fleet Management (ICFM).

Reporting to Jon Burdekin, head of consultancy services at Alphabet, Bushnell aims to be an ambassador for the firm’s corporate car-sharing solution, AlphaCity and AlphaElectric, which enables organisations and their employees to switch on to electric vehicles as part of their mobility mix.

Bushnell said: “Alphabet is undoubtedly a leader in mobility solutions and arguably ahead of the market. Their services are marque neutral, meaning they can tailor make solutions that really meet clients’ needs.

"Joining the team is therefore a great opportunity and I’m looking forward to making use of my experience as part of a forward-thinking organisation.

Richard Schooling, CEO of Alphabet, said: “Being the leading mobility specialist means having the best people available to provide insight, expertise and advice to customers. That’s why we’ve bought David on board.

“He strengthens an already impressive consultancy team and proves to the sector that we continue to invest in the right people to help our clients solve their mobility needs.”
