Valeo Service UK has won the IAAF Commercial Vehicle Supplier of the Year award at the IAAF (Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation) annual awards ceremony.

The parts supplier fought off stiff competition from rival component suppliers but was successful and won the IAAF Commercial Vehicle Supplier of the Year Award at the first time of entering.

For the IAAF Excellence Awards, nominees have to provide entries to IAAF, which are then assessed by a panel of expert judges, selected by the IAAF for their experience in the independent aftermarket.

Valeo collected the award from IAAF chief executive Wendy Williamson and sports broadcaster, Garry Richardson.

The company has eight separate specialisms within its CV programme including: Braking Systems, Transmission Systems, Electrical Accessories, Lighting Systems, Rotating Electrics Systems, Security Systems, Engine Cooling, Wipers Systems and Window Regulators.
