Manheim implementation means all major auctions now interface with 1link Disposal Network

Manheim Auctions’ implementation this month means that all of the UK’s leading motor auctions now interface with epyx’s 1link Disposal Network.

The e-commerce platform is used by major fleets to manage their entire disposal activity – including traditional, physical auctions such as Manheim’s, alongside driver, online and trade sales teams.

Manheim will now be using the 1link Disposal Network auction interface, which will provide fleets using the company’s auctions with an accurate, up-to-date picture of sales activities.

Other auction companies that have successfully adopted the interface include Aston Barclay, British Car Auctions, Fleet Auction Group, SMA and Wilsons.

David Wallace, sales and business development director at epyx, said: “We are very pleased indeed to have Manheim increase its integration with 1link Disposal Network. They are a crucial player in fleet disposals and widely used by many of our major customers.”

Chris Cush, operations director at Manheim, added: “Manheim is making significant investments both online and offline to ensure that we continue to deliver the best possible service for our customers. The introduction of the interface with the 1link Disposal Network means that our fleet customers will now have even greater access to the data to support their decision-making and ensure they make the most of all remarketing opportunities.”
