Ogilvie Fleet has become the first vehicle leasing and fleet management company to win a top industry customer service award four times in succession.

The company, which is headquartered in Stirling and has offices in Belfast, Birmingham and Sheffield, has claimed a unique quartet of Fleeteye CSI (customer satisfaction index) Awards.

The awards recognise the contract hire company that has achieved the highest customer satisfaction in the eyes of fleet decision-makers in a calendar year.

Ogilvie topped the category which recognises service to fleet operators with up to 250 vehicles.

The award was presented to Gordon Stephen, Ogilvie Fleet’s managing director at a ceremony in London’s Mayfair.

Ogilvie Fleet’s Fleeteye CSI honour was based on results obtained throughout 2013 from Experteye’s post-sale customer satisfaction survey, drawn from a subscriber base of top leasing companies in the UK.

Fleet operators are surveyed independently by Experteye, which asks an extensive range of questions on a monthly basis.

The annual CSI award goes to the company that has achieved the highest combined results across the entire year.

“For Ogilvie Fleet to have won the sub 250 fleet award four times in a row is an incredible achievement,” said Rick Yarrow, managing director of Experteye.

“However, each year the company continues to demonstrate an outstanding level of service which is reflected in the independent feedback we receive from their customers.

Stephen said: “Customers are a firm’s biggest supporters or harshest critics, but I am delighted that our clients have every confidence in our ability to deliver great products and services all underpinned by superb industry-leading customer service.

“Ogilvie Fleet was overall first for customer satisfaction and across all categories the company was ranked first or second each month throughout the year.

“That shows our consistency of delivery across all areas of service from initial quotes through day-to-day management of vehicles to defleet time and that is a fantastic achievement and testimony to the efforts of our hard-working employees.

“But we will not rest on our laurels, while our record of awards over recent years proves the strength of our customer service proposition, we know that there are areas that require fine tuning to ensure Ogilvie Fleet continues to lead the UK contract hire and leasing industry.

“No other contract hire and leasing organisation has such an impressive record which categorically proves that Ogilvie Fleet provides the best service in the industry; but we want to get even better.

“We would also like to think that the standards set by Ogilvie Fleet are also helping to raise customer service across the contract hire and leasing industry. Certainly the industry seems to have upped its game in the last few years, which is good new for all fleet customers.”
