Hitachi Capital in Sunday Times 'Best Companies' list

Hitachi Capital UK plc has entered the prestigious Sunday Times 2014 Best 100 Companies To Work For for the first time.

A newly introduced flexible working policy is now open to everyone, irrespective of whether they qualify legally, and sabbaticals are now possible for those longer serving employees who want time to pursue a personal ambition.

Staff satisfaction is high with 84% believing they make a valuable contribution to the business’s success.  Employee continuity is also high - almost 40% of employees have been with Hitachi Capital UK plc for five or more years.

Entering the top 100 Best Companies To Work For follows Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions Ltd also breaking into the top 10 of largest UK fleet leasing companies, with 47,745 vehicles.  This has been achieved via rapid growth supported by a thriving employee environment.

Simon Oliphant, Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions Ltd chief executive officer said: “The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies To Work For is one of the industry’s most respected national insights into employee satisfaction.

"From our apprenticeship schemes to bonuses for mothers returning back from maternity leave and general high level of employee benefits, we make a concerted effort to look after our people. We’re delighted to have received this public recognition.”
