Fleet Alliance has been awarded Investors in People gold accreditation.

The company joins an exclusive group of UK employers eligible to use and display the sought-after gold Investors in People logo and plaque, the most successful framework for business improvement through people in the UK.

Fleet Alliance managing director, Martin Brown, said: “Naturally, we are delighted to have achieved gold accreditation with Investors in People, which is testimony to the hard work we have carried out in developing our people and our business.

“We have had IIP accreditation since 2002 and several years ago we achieved silver status, but to achieve the gold standard is a fitting reward for the level of effort and commitment shown by all the employees at Fleet Alliance.

“This is part of an ongoing process of continual development and we will continue to make great efforts to achieve the very high standards we have set ourselves,” he said.

The highlights of the study, in which 97% of staff participated, showed that:

  • 100% of staff were proud to tell others they worked for Fleet Alliance
  • 97% of staff would recommend working for Fleet Alliance
  • 97% of staff praised the camaraderie and said people cared about each other
  •  100% of staff said people were treated fairly regardless of age.

At the same time, Fleet Alliance’s corporate social responsibility programme, ‘Fleet Alliance Loves’, has played a key role in shaping the company’s culture and has promoted a series  of charitable events, raising over £133,500 since 2008.
