Tristar Worldwide, has been named a National Champion in the European Business Awards and shortlisted for the Risk Management Awards.

The chauffeur company has been selected for the award for Environmental & Corporate Sustainability in the European Business Awards, which recognise and reward excellence, best practice and innovation across the European business community. 

More than 24,000 businesses from 33 European countries have taken part in this year’s competition.  Tristar Worldwide will now go through to the second phase of the competition. 

A panel of judges made up of Europe-wide business leaders, academics and entrepreneurs will judge and award the coveted ‘Ruban d’Honneur’ to companies  who will then go on to the grand final in 2015.

Tristar Worldwide has also been selected as a finalist in the Fleet Provider and Services category of the 2014 Risk Management Awards, which recognise those individuals, organisations and teams that have significantly added to the understanding and practice of risk management. 

The fleet award is for companies that have reduced the costs and risks for companies running fleets, through innovation, use of new technology and driver training. The winners will be announced on November 13, 2014.
