Ian Tilbrook steps down from Glass’s as EurotaxGlass’s appoints new CEO

EurotaxGlass’s Group has announced the appointment of a new chief executive officer and that Ian Tilbrook will be stepping down as managing director of Glass’s.

Lindsey Roberts will join the Group on October 22 as CEO, having spent the last 20 years in senior roles within Informa most latterly as CEO of Informa Business Information.

Roberts brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience that it says will be invaluable in leading the future growth of the company.

Paul Dunkley, EurotaxGlass’s chairman, said: “We are delighted that Lindsey has chosen to join EurotaxGlass’s at this exciting time.

“Along with a great reputation, she has vast experience in leading both data and publishing businesses by developing and building teams that can outperform their peers.”

Roberts will be based at the Group’s offices in Weybridge. She succeeds Martin Stewart, who has led the Group for the last three years as CEO.

Ian Tilbrook (pictured), managing director of EurotaxGlass’s UK business, Glass’s, has also taken the decision to step down.

He will leave the company at the end of October. Current sales director, Ed Hummel, will assume managing director responsibilities, and will work closely with Tilbrook over the next couple of months to ensure a smooth transition of this change.

Steve Worrell, current head of dealer sales, will assume the UK sales director role.
