Airmax launches Remote Mileage Manager

Airmax has launched, Remote Mileage Manager (RMM), aimed at filling the gap within existing mileage reporting software and will appeal to both finance and operations directors.

Conforming to HMRC guidelines, Remote Mileage Manager offers a total mileage and fuel fill audit trail via fuel card transaction data vehicle CANbus data and will be instrumental in resolving the fleet industry wide P11D and mileage overclaim issues. Additionally a significant aspect will be the eradication of non-allowable commuting claims.

RMM integrates a range of fuel tank level, MPG and location data with an upload from the vast majority of UK used fuel cards to deliver an automated breakdown of business and private mileage together with a payroll deduction feed, considerably streamlining current processes which are largely paper based and subject to manual error.

RMM gives drivers the option of defining their journey category via a dedicated Business/Private switch in the vehicle or via a web based driver portal option, all optimized to company payroll schedules.

The system has been successfully and extensively trialed by Airmax client fleets in the high-street point of sale and courier delivery sectors and is expected roll out across the bulk of their vehicle fleet by the end of September.
