Fleet Assist wins FGA Contracts UK deal

Fleet Assist has won a long-term deal to deliver a range of services to FGA Contracts UK – the contract hire arm of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

The supply chain management specialist for the UK fleet and leasing industry provides its clients with a nationwide network of more than 7,000 service outlets which undertake SMR work on vehicles supplied to customers across the UK.

FGA Contracts UK comprises a number of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ brands including Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep and Maserati.

Chris Kirby, national business development manager at FGA Capital UK, parent company of FGA Contracts UK, said: “FGA Contracts UK has significant growth aspirations within the corporate market and consequently has taken a root and branch review of its entire operation.

“Fleet Assist’s mixture of industry-leading service booking system, call centre and its unrivalled managed network of service points made the company the clear choice to support our quality and growth aspirations.

“In associating ourselves with best-in-class suppliers we have selected Fleet Assist and look forward to a long-term business partnership.”

Fleet Assist is providing its service booking facility to FGA Contracts UK, which includes pre-agreed terms and conditions, pricing and service standards with quality management and performance monitoring.

FGA Contracts UK will also be utilising Fleet Assist’s technical authorisation team to validate all SMR work undertaken and will be directing calls via the company’s out-of-hours service, outside of normal working hours.

Furthermore, FGA Contracts UK and its customers have become one of the first Fleet Assist clients to use its Downtime Management Tool, which is designed to maximise the uptime of vehicles.
