Vehicle rental and leasing company Dawsongroup has appointed Robert Taylor as the new head and commercial director of its asset finance subsidiary, LHE Finance.

He will spearhead LHE Finance’s next growth phase after leaving his role as director of corporate asset finance at Lombard, the asset finance arm of RBS. Taylor was previously head of corporate asset finance, London, for Bank of Scotland.

He said: “Dawsongroup is committed to this exciting and evolving area of the group’s operations, and LHE Finance’s advisory approach is exactly how I like my teams to work with their customers.

"We will continue to build that reputation for partnering with businesses to help them achieve their goals, as well as consider new products and services in partnership with the rest of the Dawsongroup businesses.

"With Dawsongroup’s experience and standing in the sectors we work in, I see massive potential for LHE Finance."
