Cityshuttle has launched its ePack cargo bike, which is available on business lease, to provide sustainable last-mile logistics.

No wider than 90cm, the cargo bike can fit on most cycle lanes, while its 250W motor with five power settings delivers a top speed of 15.5mph.

In terms of cargo capacity, the ePack4 offers 4m3 of cargo – double the industry standard according to the business – and a 350kg payload.

Tee Tyrell Blackwood from Cityshuttle said: “The ePack is the solution for businesses navigating low emission zones, congestion zones, LTNs (low traffic neighbourhoods) and increasing running/maintenance costs for vehicles.

“Businesses are looking to reduce their carbon footprint and are exploring sustainable vehicles for last-mile delivery.”

The lightweight chassis is made of durable mild steel frame and is protected by a powder coat finish, providing a corrosion-resistant surface.

Each vehicle is also fitted with two digital screens to allow operators running adverts offering an additional revenue stream.

As well as making the cargo bike available for business lease, Cityshuttle says it is keen to expand its reach further by developing partnerships with operators and funders.
