Autogas to showcase LPG at Cenex 2015

LPG supplier, Autogas, will be showcasing three LPG vehicles at the Cenex low carbon vehicle event, taking place at Millbrook on September, 9 to September 10.

Autogas said they want to highlight the "huge variety of businesses and fleets that could benefit from switching to autogas LPG." through the event.

An autogas-converted Ford Focus will demonstrate the potential cost and emissions saving combination of direct injection, a turbocharged petrol engine and the current generation of autogas LPG system.

An LPG powered Fiat Doblo van will also be on display, available for those with light commercial fleets to try, as well as an LPG powered black taxi.

Linda Gomersall, general manager of Autogas said: “We’re delighted to once again be taking part in the Cenex LCV event, and look forward to introducing visitors to the fantastic variety of autogas LPG powered vehicles we have on display.

“We’re inviting fleet operators and drivers to come and chat with us to see not only how much they could save on fuel costs but also how running vehicles on LPG is a simple and effective way of helping to tackle the growing issue of air pollution in our towns and cities.”
