Holidaymakers needn’t fear returning to a cold house with empty cupboards anymore, according to Ubeeqo.

Its new service is set to ‘provide the ultimate solution to post holiday blues’ by offering customers a ‘welcome home’ hamper, filled with supplies.

Returning travellers who book an airport taxi through Ubeeqo's app will be greeted at arrivals by an Addison Lee driver bearing a parcel, containing such items as tea bags, milk, cereal and a blanket.

Ubeeqo has initiated the service in response to customers who arrive very late at night or early in the morning, and want home comforts.

Henrik Lysgaard Jensen, Ubeeqo managing director, said: “Everyone looks forward to their holiday, but we dread returning to a cold and dusty house and an empty fridge with no essentials in the cupboards. It can put a real downer on holidays – we hope the hamper will help to end the trip on a relaxing note.”

The Ubeeqo app looks to overcome the difficulty of city travel and offers a 3-in-1 transport solution covering traditional car hire with Europcar, on-demand Addison Lee taxi rides and car clubs provided by Matcha.

Ubeeqo will be exhibiting at Fleet Management Live, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham on October 19 and 20. To register for your free ticket or to find out more, visit http://www.fleetmanagementlive.co.uk/
