Zurich appoints Europcar as temporary replacement vehicle supplier

Europcar vehicles

Zurich UK has appointed Europcar Mobility Group UK as sole supplier for temporary replacement vehicles.

The rental firm will provide vehicles to Zurich customers for the next three years, as part of the deal.

Europcar says it is committed to ongoing innovation in the insurance marketplace. It recently introduced Cogent Hire (Non Fault Credit Hire) and a dedicated insurance support team at its Leicester HQ.

Amy Brettell, head of customer for claims at Zurich UK, said: “We believe the Europcar customer-first culture and its strong focus on a sustainable offering is the perfect match to our own brand values. Moving forwards, this will provide solid foundations for a successful partnership”

The Europcar fleet features a wide choice of hybrid and fully electric vehicles, which gives Zurich the foundations to move to an ‘EV for EV’ model for its customers as the market transitions to the new automotive technology.

Ron Santiago, managing director of Europcar Mobility Group UK, added: “We have firmly established our dedicated solutions for the insurance sector, working with a variety of partners to provide like for like, efficient replacement vehicle services. We are delighted to have secured the contract with Zurich, supporting its customer-first goals.”
