BP has launched a new, bespoke offer to help small businesses (SMEs) electrify their fleets.

The new solution is delivered through the SME Fuel and Charge card and has been developed specifically for businesses with 1 to 10 vehicles.

It provides access to one of the UK's largest networks of more than 8,500 BP Pulse public charging points and more than 3,400 fuel stations.

The solution covers or both fuelling and charging and provides carbon offsetting solutions through BP Target Neutral, which purchases and retires carbon credits from a portfolio of projects around the world.

SME’s can also access BP’s 24/7 online portal, which helps users to control fuel card use with downloadable user invoices.

The BPme app, meanwhile, provides cashless payments and tracking of virtual transactions, which includes a loyalty programme, BPme Rewards, to redeem points earn through fuel and shop purchases.

Adrian Brabazon, UK fleet sales manager, said: “It’s been tough for many small businesses over the past two years, with the effects of the pandemic and an increased pressure to meet sustainable targets. We hope that our new service can help make the journey towards sustainability and net zero a little more straightforward for small businesses and give them the confidence they need to embrace the change.”
