Europcar Vans and Trucks has signed a deal with Maxus to offer the latest Deliver 9 diesel vans on its commercial fleet.

The 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine of the Deliver 9 meets the latest Euro 6DV1e requirements making them compliant with clean air zones (CAZs) such as London’s ultra-low emission zone (ULEZ).

Keith Shorter, vans and trucks director at Europcar, said: “By adding the Maxus Deliver 9 diesel model to the Europcar commercial vehicle fleet we are providing an easy to access solution that both reduces emissions and addresses the cost of CAZ and ULEZ.

“This new partnership with Maxus is a great addition to our already extensive fleet of CAZ and ULEZ compliant vans.”

Fleets are already working towards reducing the impact of their mobility by switching to lower emission vehicles wherever possible. However, Europcar says that making a wholesale fleet change is not practical or affordable for many businesses, so it is focused on helping organisations drive a younger and more efficient fleet of diesel and petrol vehicles that comply with the latest Euro standards.

Mark Barrett, managing director of Harris Maxus group franchise, said: “The acquisition of a significant fleet of Maxus Deliver 9 vans by Europcar reinforces our position as a trusted provider in the commercial vehicle market.

“This partnership underscores our mission to empower businesses with the essential tools for success, and we are privileged to contribute to Europcar's commitment to providing customers with a diverse and modern fleet.”
